ABOUT SPREFIX

Safe and cost-effective insulation that is kind to the environment

Insulation with unique properties

SpreFix spray insulation gives you a professional and cost-effective shortcut to very good insulation. A smart multifunctional solution for fire protection, sound reduction, thermal insulation and condensation control.

  • SpreFix adheres effectively to concrete, wood, plaster, steel and aluminum.
  • SpreFix is applied in a homogeneous insulation layer without joints or reinforcement.
  • SpreFix insulation can be painted or covered with fiberglass fabric for increased impact resistance and easier cleaning.
  • SpreFix material can be effectively glued directly to the substrate, as the risk of corrosion or rot under the insulation material is eliminated.

The insulation’s unique adhesive structure, which is based on the method of insulation, is patented.

Sprefix® G

SpreFix G absorbs moisture faster than mineral wool and foam.

  • Surface texture and color can be customized
  • Non-combustible material
  • Can be sprayed into corners and on curved surfaces
  • Less joints
  • The surface can be easily repaired if damaged
  • Low density and thin thickness

SpreFix G is white in its natural color and is classified as non-combustible material, Chapter II-2 of the 1974 SOLAS Convention as amended; IMO resolution A.472(XII) of Lloyd’s Register of Shipping.

SpreFix G is a lightweight material, density 45~50㎏/㎥. and is used for sound absorption, condensation control and thermal insulation in areas where a lightweight material is required.

SpreFix® S

SpreFix S, density 140-160㎏/㎥ is grey in its natural colour and has the same properties as SpreFix G in sound absorption, condensation control and thermal insulation, but is used where fire classification is required.

SpreFix S is used as fire protection in almost all applications: such as in steel construction, offshore installation, firewalls and turbine insulation, for roofs, duct insulation and roof angles. But especially in the offshore environment SpreFix is far ahead.

SpreFix S has been approved as fire insulation, A-60 Deck and Bulkhead, by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), IMO Resolution A.517(13).

SpreFix is tested according to IMO/ISO regulations which have stricter criteria than BS/ASTM.
