If you are looking for insulation that meets tough requirements and is environmentally friendly, SpreFix is the obvious choice. Sprefix consists of pure fibers from glass or rock wool and a water-based binder, nothing else. In addition, the glass wool is produced from mostly recycled glass.
Sprefix is also very energy efficient as the insulation is homogeneous, i.e. without gaps and joints compared to other traditional insulation methods.
In the event of a fire, no toxic gases or waste are produced that can negatively affect the environment or people. SpreFix is your best choice when environmental friendliness is a requirement.
Sprefix G and S are environmentally friendly materials and do not contain oils, silicates or other substances and do not emit toxic gases in the event of a fire. The binders LPA and LPB are also environmentally friendly and water-based.
SpreFix applied with the SpreFix LPA/LPB binder system is determined as a non-combustible material according to ISO1182 and NT Fire 038.
Since no cavities between the surface or joists and fastening details are needed, a k-value for the construction is often obtained that is overall better than the corresponding insulation consisting of traditional insulation boards.
Applied SpreFix can be sprayed with paint or surface-coated with, for example, glass fabric or epoxy resin or other resin. However, in critical cases, check before doing this that the non-combustibility or moisture permeability is not affected.
